Overcoming Burnout: Embrace Divine Love Every Day

“Love That Never Runs Out”

(Inspired by 1 Corinthians 13:7–8)

“It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” — 1 Corinthians 13:7–8

Sometimes I read this verse and think, “Lord… how can anyone love like this?” Because the truth is, human love gets tired. Human love gets overwhelmed. Human love runs out.

And when life feels heavy — when everything feels like too much effort, when your heart feels empty, when you feel far from God — loving people becomes even harder. That’s usually a sign of spiritual burnout, not failure.

We can’t love people with God’s kind of love unless we stay close to Him. We need His strength to love well.

The Bible says we need to “keep ourselves spiritually fit.” That means we need habits that refill us, not drain us.

Here are three simple ways to stay spiritually renewed:

⭐ 1. A quiet moment with God every day

Even ten minutes can change your whole day. Read a chapter. Sit with God. Let Him strengthen you on the inside, even when the outside feels worn down.

⭐ 2. People who encourage your faith

We aren’t meant to walk with God alone. We need people who pray with us, listen to us, and remind us of God’s truth when we forget it.

⭐ 3. Worship — even if you don’t think you sing well

Worship softens the heart. It lifts the heaviness. It reminds your soul who God is. Put on a song and let your spirit breathe again.

Because the truth is this:

God’s love never runs out — but ours needs refilling. And He is always ready to refill you.
